The first time I tried on this pair of shoes I was sure at 100% that I would not have bought them. But at the end, here I am, loving them so much.
I saw them a lot on social media when they first came out and they didn’t give me a good impression but I told myself “I may as well just try them on, just to see how they look on me” because seemed like people were loving them.
I went at the Balenciaga store in Milan to see them in person and at first they absolutely didn’t look good at my eyes. I tried them on and it was a categoric NO.
Few weeks passed and, thinking about it now, I don’t really know what changed but definitely they sticked into my mind so much. Stubborn as I am, I wanted to try them on again and…Fell in love with them.

Many people say they are so heavy, in fact the weight is 960 grams/2,1 pounds per shoe. I honestly don’t feel that at all, probably also because I got used to them now. At the contrary they are one of the most comfortable pair of sneakers I have.
Definitely a luxury piece that I approve.
Something I must point out is that they make your foot look bigger than what it actually is. I bought the woman’s model size 41 because it looks exactly the same but the structure is a little smaller than the man’s one and I thought it looked better on me.
They present the logo “Balenciaga” sewn on the side, the same logo embossed to the back and the size of the sneakers sewn on top on the tip of the shoes.
I must say that the idea of the size shown on the outside is an absolute distinctive sign of the brand.
The sole of the shoes has a really particular design and it presents the label’s logo in the middle too.
The coloring that I decided to buy is the white version with different shades of beige that makes it even more versatile and adaptable to any look.
